20 Years!
The year 2007
marks the 20th year anniversary of The McMichael Insurance
Agency. Thanks to all my policyholders for their continual
support. I am grateful to all of you for the success of the
agency. Insurance is more than providing coverage, collecting
premiums, and paying claims.
It is a
relationship. I truly feel that I deal with wonderful people and
I am thankful to be able to call them clients. The years have
gone by so very quickly. I talk with clients who were single
when I first insured them. Now I am chatting with them about
their kids going off to college. I feel special to have these
conversations.
Aimee, my CSR,
had a baby boy, Austin, on December 5th. Everyone is healthy and
Aimee is now a stay at home mom. Connie has decided to return
full time. How lucky can an employer be? Two wonderful
employees….back to back.
The past year was
full of work and travel. Cory, my lovely wife, and I have been
fortunate to be able to go to many wonderful destinations. We
spent some time, this year, in Rio de Janeiro and cruised across
to the Cape Verde and the Canary Islands. In the fall we took an
extended trip to China/Tibet.
Tibet was very
special. We spent some time at the Dickey Orphanage while in
Lhasa. Their web site is

some fine work that Tamdrin Dadhon is doing for the abandoned
children in Lhasa. You may even want to make a donation.
